Not fashion, strictly speaking, but I thought the audience here would appreciate the visual and musical style. I heard about "The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom" via G4's coverage of the E3 video game convention. It appears to be a PC game, but I didn't see any release information.

Evening,
I was wondering, where do all of you gentlemen get your suspenders? While they are normally not too "steamy" or decorated at all for that matter, suspenders can be a very important aspect of any man's outfit- especially when it's Victorian-inspired.
I've tried Ebay, Etsy and a few other webshops. Pretty much everything I've found is meant as a novelty or it is utterly cheap, meant for some guy who needs to go to a formal event and will settle for anything. I'm specifically looking for suspenders with a black on black pattern, but anything nice would do. Steampunk prints would be fabulous, although I'm not sure if anyone has made something like that as of yet.
Please help some slacking breeches~

| VoicePost 334K 1:43 | “Well I pulled something in my back Wednesday night. I got home from work and I was already really hurting for some reason over the past few months I've been having a lot of problems with my back and my legs. As far as standing up and walking around a lot it is causing me a lot of discomfort and I'm not really sure what the problem is. I know I've put on weight and it took a lot of pressure on my back so then that is part of the problem but I haven't put on that much weight to when it should be uncomfortable all the time. So I'm trying to see if I can get an appointment to go see a doctor and see why I hurt all over all of the time. Even when I'm not working or doing anything. But anyway I was on the floor with Mason because he asked to take a ride on my back, so I was crawling on the floor and he was on my back. I twisted myself to get him off cause I felt my back starting to cramp up and all of a sudden I felt this shooting pain on the left side of my lower back and it's been progressively feeling worse over the past couple of days cause I don't think swimming yesterday and like laps in the pool really helps. And I sat in that uncomfortable we need to get a chair for 2 hours watching the movie last night so when I got up today I was really really hurting and I've been kinda trying to get some rest and lounging around as much as I can today and try and do a little wondering stuff too but I just don't feel like doing anything. I really just want to sleep. Just sitting around talking on line to people. And winding down and dealing with a Cranky child he throwing a fit because he wants to watch the same Tigger movie so I guess I better end this now anyway's I hope you guys are having a good night bye.” Transcribed by: |

I'm a fan of how such an intricate chunk of metal can be buried under layers of broken old brooch. The filigree star on this piece was truly an unearthed piece of treasure.

Its Done and there are Photos to prove it!
This summer I embarked on a great project to make, collect, combine and mod a complete Steampunk Wardrobe for a friend while she was in Europe.
Here are the results. Only one or two of the pieces were lent from my closet. The rest were on her doorstep in a decorative trunk with a bow when she got home. (Thank God Everything Fit!)

Thanks for all the inspiration everyone!
